Works perfectly for me… and it’s free
I’ve used DiverLog Lite since Aug. 2014, syncing an Amphos Air (Sherwood) dive computer with a MacBookPro (OS 10.9 through 10.10.3), and it’s never failed to sync (via USB cable) and has never crashed or lost data as some other reviewers have reported. It seems to do everything I would need from the the full version does in terms of logging and analyzing dives, including exporting dive profile data in CSV or XML format, except it doesn’t let you do pre-dive planning, so I’ll probably spring for the full version. But it uploads ALL the data from the PDC and lets you view customize locations, create gear sets to record every bit of gear or lead you were carrying or wearing. You can make notes, customize “checkboxes” for your favorite kinds of dives (“wreck”, nitrox, mermaids, etc), and even link photos to specific points in the dive profile. Several different views of the dive profile can be plotted, and it’s easy to step through the dive minute-by-minute to see depth, remaining air, no-deco time left, temperature, etc on the graph while also being shown exactly what the PDC was displaying at that moment. And by exporting the profile as CSV or XML you can geek-out in excel with plotting anything your PDC has stored (tissue loading, deco times etc etc.)
What’s not to like, especially for free? Sorry others have had trouble, but it’s worked flawlessly for me.
Note: air time remaining, gas pressure, etc. requires an air-integrated PDC, of course!
